CONCLUSION:

As looking at the films showing in week 1 you see that there is more mainstream film view than other. This is because Hollywood releases 4 films a week and you can watch a film at a different time, if you are watching another film at the moment. By looking at the list for week 1 you would see Avatar in 2D and 3D and other film have this. By doing this it gives the audience an option. The negative point about this is that 3D is more expensive than 2D. But some people would be willing to pay for this viewing. Comparing the arthouse and the multiplex cinema, the difference is that an arthouse cinema only offers few films to watch and you only can watch it at the set time. However, multiplex cinema offers you a wide range of films and you can watch them at a different time. The similarities of these two cinemas are that the films in week 1 will appear in week 2 but there will be one or two new films released.

CONCLUSION: When you look at week 2 of the film shown you would see some films from last week the other week. This because when it comes to Christmas the cinemas put some Christmas films and they carry on to the end on the month. Normally when it comes to Christmas you would a new Christmas themed film and that new film for 2009 was Disney A Christmas Carol. So you would see this film next Christmas. The Twilight Saga: New Moon is indie film but when you looked who were the audience for this film. The audience for this film was young females which made it a mainstream film.

It’s no good just listing the films you need to draw conclusions from the information.
